• The Story Behind Rivau

I have always been drawn to creating.

As a child in Colombia, I spent hours sewing by hand and imagining things I could make. When I turned eighteen, my father gave me my first sewing machine, and from that moment on, I taught myself through tutorials, curiosity, and countless hours of practice.

Life eventually took me in different directions. I built a career in other fields, moved across the world to Germany, and spent years growing through experiences that continuously reshaped who I am.

But creativity always found its way back to me.

rivau was born from that return.

More than a brand, rivau is a reflection of what I believe femininity can be: soft yet resilient, delicate yet powerful, effortless yet full of character.

Each collection explores different materials, textures, and ideas, but the intention remains the same, to create pieces that celebrate the many contrasts that exist within a woman.
